Job Description

Job Title: Merchandise Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Merchandise Associate to join our team at Georgia Tech Game Day events. As a Merchandise Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide a fun and professional environment for teammates and fans, proactively greet guests, and assist all customers.
  • Sales: Accurately ring in sales and handle cash amounts in a timely manner on the Point of Sale terminal, ensure education on products and services sold throughout the Stadium.
  • Store Maintenance: Assist with stocking of merchandise, maintain a neat, organized, clean, and fully stocked store for all events and set up prior to event.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with supervisors and other sales associates to ensure a smooth and efficient retail experience.

Requirements:

  • Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred.
  • Personality: Energetic, self-motivated, warm, and friendly personality, collaborative and a team player.
  • Availability: Willingness and drive to exceed guest expectations, maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to bend, squat, and walk/stand for extended periods, transport up to 30 lbs on a continuous basis.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and guests.
  • Flexibility: Flexible to work events at Georgia Tech athletic venues, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.
