CMM Programmer Position

Mill Creek Machining, a CMT company, is seeking a highly skilled CMM Programmer for our Spencer, IA location. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and generating coordinate measuring machine (CMM) programs that will be utilized to inspect and verify production materials and components.
Key Responsibilities- Perform programming of CMM machines to ensure accurate measurements.
- Maintain up-to-date programs on the server to facilitate efficient operations.
- Operate CMM machines and develop clear instructions for setup and inspection of parts.
- Analyze and interpret blueprints, models, evaluation sheets, and other materials to determine specifications and inspection procedures.
- Collect and analyze inspection data to determine inspection results and perform first article inspections.
- Communicate inspection results and part status clearly to team members and participate in Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities.
- A two-year Associate degree or equivalent education and experience.
- Three years' experience working in quality control in a CNC machining environment.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 and quality standards.
- Competent with Microsoft Office and capable of using paperless systems.
