Job Summary

The Associate Assembler will perform assembly, packaging, and shipping functions, as well as operate machines and equipment to fabricate parts for assembly and sub-assembly of parts. This is an onsite position in Utica on 2nd shift with the hours of 3:10 pm - 11:40 pm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform manufacturing assembly, sub-assembly, inspection, and packaging duties to assemble and ship select medical devices following companies' policies and procedures.
  • Operate machine setup by another with defined adjustments.
  • Load/Unload parts and cut/trim parts using established procedures/tools.
  • Sustain and maintain 5s standards.
  • Inspect parts - visual and using basic gauges.
  • Complete required paperwork to include preparing labels, maintaining production logs, and recording process results.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to perform at workbench according to CONMED standard practices and lift up to 30 pounds unassisted.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous manufacturing experience.
