We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Springfield Memorial Hospital.
About the Role:- Provide high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Medical-Surgical units.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and manage complex patient conditions, including cardiovascular, respiratory, and neurological cases.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and utilize advanced life support techniques as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Critical Care or Medical-Surgical nursing.
- Active Illinois RN license.
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIH.
- Ability to work every other weekend and float to like units as needed.
- Previous charge experience.
- Cerner experience.
- Teaching hospital experience.
- Level I Trauma experience.
