Key Responsibilities

  1. Exhibit exemplary sales techniques for retail, custom apparel, and special occasion rentals, as per training guidelines.
  2. Encourage and engage in collaborative selling efforts.
  3. Establish rapport with customers from the initial greeting through follow-up interactions.
  4. Monitor and positively influence store sales performance and metrics, while achieving personal sales targets.
  5. Utilize tailors for alteration fittings whenever possible; otherwise, provide accurate fitting and alteration recommendations.
  6. Assist in inventory management, including receiving shipments and organizing merchandise according to visual merchandising standards.
  7. Support the maintenance of store security and report any issues related to inventory.
  8. Participate in stock counts as requested and communicate any discrepancies to management.
  9. Actively contribute as a team member, holding oneself accountable for individual performance while supporting team objectives.
  10. Uphold a harassment-free workplace by adhering to company policies and promptly reporting any concerns.

Physical and Mental Requirements

Ability to bend, squat, and reach for merchandise, assist customers with fittings, and operate a cash register. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, occasionally up to twelve hours, and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs. Visual acuity is necessary to distinguish fabric patterns and colors.

Work Schedule

Availability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends as required.
