The Position
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nursing Manager to join our team at Hanford. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the occupational health nursing program, providing oversight and management of clinical staff and operations in conjunction with the Site Occupational Medical Director (SOMD) and the Nursing Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the occupational health nursing team.
- Provide direct nursing care, as needed, and conduct initial health assessments and screenings for injuries, illnesses, and mandated occupational exams.
- Coordinate with other healthcare providers to ensure high-quality care is consistently provided.
- Develop and implement educational programs on occupational health nursing best practices and relevant regulations.
- Support recruitment and retention efforts for nursing staff, including addressing employee relations concerns and completing performance assessments.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist in developing and implementing emergency response plans for health-related incidents in the workplace.
- Maintain confidentiality of protected health information in compliance with the Privacy Act and HIPAA.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 4+ years nursing experience required.
- Minimum 2+ years of management experience required.
- Occupational health nursing, urgent care clinic, or emergency department experience preferred.
- Current, valid unrestricted Washington state RN license required.
- Current basic cardiac life support (BLS) certification required.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.

Salary
$105,000- $115,000 per year
