Join us in safeguarding the individuals who dedicate their lives to helping others. We are currently seeking a Security Specialist for our healthcare facility. In this role, your primary duties will involve overseeing and ensuring the safety of patients, staff, visitors, and property, maintaining order, preventing criminal activity, and identifying and apprehending lawbreakers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responding to emergency codes within the facility.
- Conducting regular patrols of parking areas and clinics.
- Performing routine checks on patients flagged for potential security concerns.
- Documenting daily activities and any irregularities, including property damage, theft, unauthorized individuals, or unusual incidents.
- Acting as a liaison to assist responding law enforcement agencies.

Position Highlights:

Qualifications:
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or related fields is preferred.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for interacting with individuals and groups in a healthcare environment.
- Must achieve EMR training and certification within three months of employment.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
- Certification in the use of security equipment and techniques is necessary within six months of hire.
- Completion of fingerprinting as per state regulations is mandatory.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider certification is required before completing orientation.
