The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time, open tenure faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The successful candidate will join the Department of Restorative Sciences and contribute to the department's mission of promoting excellence in patient care.

About the Position

This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician-scholar to join our faculty and contribute to the education and training of future dentists. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in prosthodontics and a passion for teaching and research.

Responsibilities
  • Teach graduate students in prosthodontics
  • Conduct research in a field related to restorative sciences
  • Participate in departmental service and committee work
Requirements
  • DMD/DDS or equivalent degree
  • Completion of a CODA-accredited Advanced Education in Prosthodontics residency
  • Eligibility/certification by the American Board of Prosthodontics (desired)
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, with additional benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
