Key Responsibilities
  • Cast Vision for Excellence: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to ensure a high-quality guest experience, focusing on welcoming, informing, and serving each guest.
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of major events and special initiatives, ensuring seamless delivery and high-quality results.
  • Interdepartmental Communications: Lead effective communication between departments, ensuring that the needs of the Guest Experience team are met and that all stakeholders are informed.
  • Leadership and Coaching: Provide guidance, support, and coaching to the Guest Experience team, helping them to develop their skills and achieve their goals.
  • Volunteer Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of volunteers, ensuring that they are equipped to provide exceptional service to our guests.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, providing regular reports to senior leadership on the effectiveness of the Guest Experience team.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in guest experience or a related field.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, logistics, creative, and environmental vision.
  • High-level networking and relational strengths.
  • Ability to establish strong professional relationships with peers, volunteers, and potential vendors.
  • High level of initiative and ability to take a proactive approach to work.
  • Performs job duties on time with excellence.
  • Actively participates in the life of Redemption Church.
  • 1-2 years of event planning/project management experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience managing customer service.
  • 1-3 years of mid-to-high-level administrative office skills.
  • Advanced level of expertise in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working with a non-profit a plus.
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Must be able to lift 10-25lbs.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Fluent in English (Any secondary language is helpful).
  • Be able to bend down, pick up, and move items from one room to the next as needed.
