Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare environments for the following day by performing tasks such as:

  • Removing waste and ensuring areas are tidy
  • Cleaning floors through sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
  • Sanitizing restrooms, sinks, break rooms, and replenishing supplies (e.g., soap, paper towels)
  • Cleaning mirrors and windows to maintain visibility
  • Disinfecting frequently touched surfaces including doorknobs and handles
  • Collecting litter from external areas
  • Reporting any maintenance needs or supply shortages to management
  • Occasionally performing heavier cleaning tasks (e.g., moving furniture)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Demonstrated experience in custodial or janitorial roles is essential.

Familiarity with industrial cleaning tools and equipment is required.

Understanding of safe disposal methods for hazardous materials is necessary.

Strong attention to detail and a conscientious work ethic are crucial.

Physical fitness and strength are important for the role.

A high school diploma is preferred but not mandatory.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.

Experience: Entry-level position.
