Infectious Disease Specialist Physician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Infectious Disease Specialist Physician to join our team at Geisinger Health System. As a key member of our Hospital Medicine Department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating infectious diseases, including AIDS and fevers of unknown origin. This role may also involve expertise in preventive medicine and travel-related conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Interview patients to obtain medical histories and symptoms
- Perform diagnostic tests as needed
- Diagnose and design treatment plans for injuries and illnesses
- May prescribe medications and maintain accurate patient records

Requirements:

- Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree
