Medical Care Specialist
Overview:We are seeking a skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team at Liberty Health. As a vital member of our staff, you will provide high-quality care to patients and contribute to the success of our healthcare services.
Salary:$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and maintain accurate records.
- Supervise nursing assistants and ensure that work assignments are completed efficiently.
- Collaborate with physicians to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective care plans for patients.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control measures and Standard/Universal Precautions.
- Participate in research activities related to quality of care and make recommendations for improvement.
- Registered Nurse (RN) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid North Carolina RN license and proof of renewal every two years.
- CPR certification and ability to maintain it yearly.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
- Able to make decisions regarding nursing problems and prioritize tasks effectively.
