Job Summary

The Highlands at Harbor Springs is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Lift Operator to join our team for the winter season. As a Lift Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our chairlifts, providing exceptional customer service to our guests, and contributing to the overall success of our resort.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate chairlifts, including starting, stopping, and adjusting speed as needed.
  • Assist skiers and snowboarders on and off the lift, providing safety instructions and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.
  • Monitor lift loading and unloading areas to ensure safety procedures are followed and guests are properly seated.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly corral and terminal area, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Perform snow maintenance tasks, including grooming ramps, terminals, and other areas as needed.
  • Participate in daily lift inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our resort's operations, policies, and procedures to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Able to work outdoors in winter conditions, standing for extended periods and performing physical tasks as needed.
