We are seeking a skilled RN to fill the role of Building Charge Nurse, responsible for leading and supervising nursing staff, delegating direct resident care, and coordinating the delivery of resident care from healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise nursing staff, including CNAs and LPNs
- Delegate direct resident care in accordance with state, federal, and facility guidelines
- Coordinate and facilitate the delivery of resident care from healthcare professionals
- Conduct patient assessments, review medical records, and ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information
- Contribute to the professional development of nursing staff through ongoing education, training, and mentoring
- Communicate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the facility
Qualifications & Skills:
- A valid and active RN license from the state of Minnesota
- An associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
- Management and/or supervisory experience
- Solid clinical knowledge foundation and nursing practice skills
- Effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Proper organizational and critical thinking skills
- Familiarity with healthcare facility policies, procedures, and protocols
