About the Role:
  • Conduct thorough nutritional assessments to inform personalized care plans.
  • Develop and implement effective nutrition strategies tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Promote healthy eating habits, dietary modifications, and lifestyle changes to foster long-term well-being.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition care into overall patient management.
  • Maintain ongoing evaluation of patient progress, adjusting nutrition plans as needed.
  • Stay current with the latest research and advancements in nutrition and dietetics.
  • Advocate for patients' nutritional needs and ensure optimal care delivery.
  • Participate in community outreach programs focused on nutrition education and health promotion.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program and completion of a dietetic internship program approved by the Commission on Dietetics Registration (CDR).
  • Registration with the CDR required.
  • Licensure with the South Carolina Panel for Dietetic registration required.
  • Strong foundation in nutrition science, dietary guidelines, and therapeutic diets.
