BBQ Cook

Culinary experts are sought after to join the Stew Leonard's team as BBQ Cooks. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items for retail by following established recipes, standards, and procedures.

• Inventory cases and prepare production lists to ensure efficient food preparation.
• Follow recipes to prepare and reheat food items to meet quality and safety standards.
• Rotate products on display to maintain a visually appealing store environment.
• Adhere to all health, sanitation, and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist in other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the store.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 to 3 years of experience in food preparation.
• Current Culinary Arts student or graduate preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation and safety procedures.
• Ability to safely use and operate rotisserie oven, fryers, kettle, knives, scales, and other equipment required in the day-to-day operation of the rotisserie department.
• Excellent customer service skills and good oral communication skills.
