Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cafe Associate to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Cafe Associate, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food to our members, maintaining a clean and sanitized environment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare food according to item specifications, maintain a clean and sanitized environment, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives, communicate effectively with members and colleagues, and be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
  • Quality and Safety: Adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance to ensure the quality and safety of our food products.
  • Member Service: Provide exceptional customer service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, and assisting them with purchasing decisions.

Requirements

  • Food Service Experience: Previous experience in food service, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Food Safety Certification: Possess a valid food safety certification, such as Food Handler Certification.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with members and colleagues.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing situations, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
