Key Responsibilities:


Under the guidance of a registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, licensed physician, or other authorized healthcare provider, the Practical Nursing Specialist (LPN) will engage in the creation, execution, and adjustment of the comprehensive care plan for residents.

They will operate within the legal parameters for practical nursing as defined by state regulations to ensure effective patient care and associated services.


Essential Qualifications:
Must possess and uphold a valid license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state.
Demonstrates awareness of state and federal regulations governing practices within the facility.
Commitment to ongoing Continuing Education Credits in clinical areas, management, personal development, and growth.
Exhibits a solid understanding of infection control principles and practices.
Proven ability to communicate effectively and positively with staff, residents, and their families.
Basic computer skills with a willingness to learn company-specific software.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English proficiently.
Must comply with all local health regulations and successfully complete any required post-employment physical examination, which may include drug screening, criminal background checks, and reference verification.
Recent clinical experience, education, or specialized skills in geriatrics are preferred.
