Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Compactor Shop Technician B to join our team. This role involves troubleshooting, design, installation, and repair of compactors and power units, with a focus on safety and compliance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Replace hydraulic cylinders and fabricate replacement hoses and fittings
  • Weld steel components using MIG and Arc welding equipment
  • Cut steel using a plasma cutter or torch
  • Fabricate steel components for compactors
  • Perform on-site repairs at customer locations
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Complete required paperwork
  • Install company and safety decals on compactors
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency with welding, hydraulics, or electronics
  • Ability to utilize mig & stick welders, plasma cutter, airless paint sprayers
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow directions with minimal supervisory involvement
