As a Nurse Specialist in our inpatient float pool, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, providing high-quality care and support in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with cardiovascular conditions, including those requiring cardiac monitoring and other specialized treatments.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care strategies.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and transitions.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio or eligibility for licensure.
  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a cardiovascular or critical care setting.
  • Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, and to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
