About the Position

This is a long term substitute position for a Grade 4 teacher at Chelsea Public Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing instruction and support to students in a dynamic and inclusive classroom environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Provide individualized support and accommodations for students with special needs

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Knowledge of Massachusetts curriculum frameworks and instructional strategies
  • Valid Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education teacher licensure (preferred)
Terms

The length of the school day is 6.5 hours, with the possibility of longer hours for schools with extended day. The number of school days is 185.
