Join Our Team as a Phlebotomist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team at Fertility Centers of Illinois. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in our laboratory, ensuring the smooth collection and processing of patient specimens.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect blood and other specimens from patients using proper technique and Universal Precautions.
  • Adhere to laboratory instructions for specimen collection, storage, and transport.
  • Verify patient identifiers and confirm orders in our electronic medical record system.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laboratory changes and requirements.
  • Process patient specimens, including blood, urine, and tissue samples.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certificate or diploma in phlebotomy.
  • CPR certification.
  • Technical skills, including venipuncture.
  • Experience in a fast-paced medical office setting.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
