We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our team at Fertility Centers of Illinois. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in our laboratory, ensuring the smooth collection and processing of patient specimens.
Responsibilities:- Collect blood and other specimens from patients using proper technique and Universal Precautions.
- Adhere to laboratory instructions for specimen collection, storage, and transport.
- Verify patient identifiers and confirm orders in our electronic medical record system.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laboratory changes and requirements.
- Process patient specimens, including blood, urine, and tissue samples.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certificate or diploma in phlebotomy.
- CPR certification.
- Technical skills, including venipuncture.
- Experience in a fast-paced medical office setting.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
