Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain effective learning environments that promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
  • Plan and deliver instruction that meets the needs of all students, including those with disabilities.
  • Design and implement differentiated learning experiences that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Current Single Subject California Teaching Credential, EL Authorized.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish and academic level vocabulary and syntax expertise in both languages.
  • Growth mindset and constructive teaching methodology.
  • Pedagogy focused on social emotional learning, content integration, student-driven instruction, and project-based learning.
Physical Demands:

The successful candidate must be able to meet the following physical demands:

  • Frequently walk, sit, stand, and use extremities to lead lessons.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to and over 25 pounds of items.
  • Regularly talk and listen.
  • Have the ability to see close and long distances.
