About the Role:
As a Network Design Engineer at GeoLogics, you will work on complex problems of diverse scope or situations, requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors. You will exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Your expertise in network design and engineering principles will enable you to provide innovative solutions to challenging problems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and plan network systems
- Provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture
- Deliver specific information for hardware and software selection
- Troubleshoot problems with department users and department network administrators
- Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Subject matter expert (SME) in one discipline/field and developing working knowledge In adjacent disciplines/fields
- Display initiative on assignments, exercise independent judgment and professionally execute projects with little direction
- A seasoned, experienced professional having a wide range of professional experience and possessing a very strong understanding of software engineering concepts, principles, and theories
- Expert at applying technical standards and methodologies to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways
