Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Stock Transportation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including air and hydraulic brake repairs, driveline, steering & suspension, electrical trouble-shooting and AC.
  • Comply with safety and compliance procedures, and stay up-to-date with new technology and advanced diagnostics.
  • Work under the direct supervision of an experienced technician to receive hands-on training and guidance.
  • Perform road calls and on-the-road repairs as assigned.
  • Test-drive vehicles to ensure problem resolution.
  • Ensure proper work methods and techniques, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
  • Prepare and submit paperwork on time and correctly.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma (GED equivalent) or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Two years' experience in automotive or truck technical repair, or two years of vocational training.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Valid appropriate licenses and/or certification required to operate company vehicles in assigned location.
  • Possession of tools required for the position.
