About the Position

Husson University's Psychology Program is seeking a pool of qualified candidates for part-time teaching opportunities. As an adjunct faculty member, you will have the opportunity to teach a variety of courses in psychology, including behavior modification, diversity and multiculturalism, and research methods.

Responsibilities
  • Teach psychology courses on campus
  • Develop and implement course materials and assessments
  • Provide feedback and guidance to students
  • Participate in departmental meetings and activities
Qualifications

A Master's degree in Psychology or a closely related field is required. A PhD or PsyD is preferred. Experience teaching psychology courses is also desirable.

Compensation

Adjunct faculty members are compensated on a per-credit-hour basis, with rates varying depending on the course level and student enrollment. Please see the supplemental information below for more details.

Supplemental Information

Undergraduate Course Rates
Masters Prepared: $933.33 maximum per credit hour
Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared: $1,016.67 maximum per credit hour

Graduate Course Rates
Masters Level Prepared: $1,016.67 maximum per credit hour
Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared: $1,100.00 maximum per credit hour

Lab Section Rates
Undergraduate: Masters Prepared $1,150.00 per credit hour, Doctoral or Equivalent Prepared $1,250.00 per credit hour
