Overview:


Accountable for both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks; responsible for the upkeep and repair of machinery and equipment (such as motors, pneumatic systems, material handling apparatus, etc.) as well as the electrical power infrastructure within the facility.

This role necessitates strong troubleshooting capabilities, along with a comprehensive understanding of pneumatic, mechanical, and PLC-controlled systems utilized in the workplace.


Key Responsibilities:

COLLABORATION:
Frequent engagement with Operations management teams and various personnel within the organization.

Must effectively communicate and collaborate with supervisors, leads, and colleagues throughout the company.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts all tasks in compliance with established safety protocols.

Implements general preventive maintenance responsibilities using the maintenance management system.

Identifies malfunctions in machinery, diagnoses issues, and executes repairs on machinery and equipment.

Capable of working independently and safely with minimal supervision.

Disassembles defective machinery and equipment and installs new or refurbished components.

Maintains and troubleshoots frame welders, both automated and manual production lines (including rollers, belts, motors, and chains), as well as facility equipment such as lighting, air compressors, and overhead doors.

Lubricates and cleans components and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Consistent and reliable attendance and punctuality, with the ability to work flexible hours and adapt to evolving work demands.

Maintains a clean and organized work environment.

Utilizes MIG and TIG welding techniques to repair and sustain equipment.


May be required to undertake additional maintenance tasks or assist in other departments as necessary based on business needs.


Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

A minimum of three years of experience in the maintenance of manufacturing equipment.

Familiarity with electrical/electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

Experience in using a variety of hand tools and equipment.

MIG and TIG welding proficiency


Must actively engage as a team member and be committed to maintaining high productivity levels, occasionally working extended hours when required.

Attention to detail and adherence to established procedures, along with strong organizational skills.

Proficient English language skills, both written and verbal.

Strong mathematical and computational abilities.

Must possess a valid Driver's License and successfully pass any required MVR and background checks.
