Job Summary

TotalMed Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Cardiac PCU Travel Nurse. As a Cardiac PCU Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Cardiac PCU unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Conduct patient education and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of California.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Cardiac PCU or a related field.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
