About the Role

The Development Director will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy, leading a team of development professionals, and cultivating relationships with donors and stakeholders. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong track record of fundraising success, excellent communication skills, and a passion for youth empowerment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a fundraising strategy aligned with Raw Art Works' long-term goals and recent development assessment.
  • Lead and mentor the development team to execute fundraising initiatives, including individual, foundation, government, and corporate support.
  • Cultivate and steward relationships with current and prospective donors, including major institutional and individual supporters.
  • Oversee grant proposals, gift requests, and donor communications, ensuring excellence in written and verbal correspondence.
  • Represent Raw Art Works externally as a spokesperson at events, committees, and community engagements.
  • Supervise development operations, including budgeting, reporting, and CRM database management.
Requirements
  • 5-7+ years of fundraising management experience in a mid-to-large-sized nonprofit.
  • Proficiency in project management, budget development, and CRM systems.
  • Experience in individual giving, foundation relations, and grant writing.
  • Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated commitment to advancing organizational goals with resilience and determination.
