About the Role:

The Food Runner is a vital member of our culinary team at Royal Lahaina Resort, responsible for ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders to our guests. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure that all orders are prepared and presented to the highest standards
  • Work closely with servers and chefs to ensure seamless service
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Assist with clearing tables and resetting for the next course
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of new ideas and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, with the capacity to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Neat and professional appearance, with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest service
