The Director of Facilities is a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for providing strategic vision and guidance on facility maintenance and grounds, fire prevention, and safety compliance. This role oversees the Maintenance Supervisor and supports the maintenance team in meeting established performance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic direction to support future needs and growth
- Collaborate with Executive Director and Director of Operations on strategic initiatives
- Prepare and submit required documentation for capital needs assessments
- Examine the effectiveness of maintenance policies and procedures
- Create and maintain a predictive maintenance data analysis
Requirements:
- Ten+ years of relevant experience, with five years in a management capacity at a multi-family dwelling or affordable housing setting
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as facilities management, engineering, or business management
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM), Sustainability Facility Professional (SFP), and/or Professional Engineer (PE) are highly preferred
