Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team at Peoplelink Staffing Solutions. As a Finish Carpenter, you will be responsible for installing trim and molding, assembling and installing cabinets, and laying and finishing hardwood, laminate, tile, or other flooring materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install trim and molding, ensuring proper fit and alignment
  • Assemble and install cabinets, shelves, and other storage solutions
  • Lay and finish hardwood, laminate, tile, or other flooring materials
  • Construct, install, or refurbish staircases, handrails, and balusters
  • Fabricate and install custom-built furniture, built-in shelving, and other unique features
  • Apply siding, trim, and other exterior elements
  • Assess and repair damaged or deteriorating woodwork, restoring it to its original condition or upgrading to meet modern standards
  • Coordinate with other tradespeople, such as architects, contractors, and construction activities
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a finish carpenter or similar role, demonstrating mastery of woodworking techniques and tools
  • Thorough understanding of carpentry techniques, materials, and best practices, with the ability to interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including saws, drills, sanders, and routers
  • Meticulous attention to detail and craftsmanship, with the ability to produce high-quality work that meets or exceeds client expectations
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors
