About the Role:

Soliant is seeking a skilled and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about making a difference in students' lives and can create customized therapy plans to meet each student's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
  • Design and Implement Treatment Plans: Design and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with students' needs and educational goals.
  • Deliver Direct Therapy Services: Deliver direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with Teachers and Parents: Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress and integrate therapy goals into classroom activities.
  • Keep Accurate Records: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and therapy sessions.
  • Participate in IEP Meetings: Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to the development of student goals and objectives.
  • Screen and Assess Students: Perform screenings and assessments to identify students who may benefit from speech-language services.
  • Stay Current with Best Practices: Stay informed about current best practices, research, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
  • Provide Training and Resources: Provide training and resources to school staff and parents regarding speech-language development and strategies to support students' communication needs.
Requirements:
  • Masters Degree: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Valid State License: Valid Georgia state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certification from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission: Certification from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (PSC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience: Preferably, experience working in an educational setting.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • State Licensure: Must hold a valid Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the Georgia Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
  • Professional Certification: Must possess the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Educator Certification: Must hold a valid Speech and Language Pathology Service (S-5) Certificate issued by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission (PSC).
