About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our General Surgery department at Skagit Regional Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient clinic setting, including performing routine exams, taking medical histories, and developing treatment plans.
  • Assist in the operating room, participating in surgical procedures and providing support to surgeons and other medical staff.
  • Collaborate with our experienced support staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in inpatient rounding, providing medical care and guidance to patients and families.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of surgery experience preferred, but new graduates will be considered.
  • Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building lasting relationships with patients and colleagues.
