Occupational Therapist Job Description

A licensed and certified Occupational Therapist will provide therapeutic programs to pediatric patients with cognitive, physical, and sensory disabilities or delays in the home and community setting.

Our Occupational Therapy team approaches each day with a passionate pursuit of caring for patients by working one-on-one with them and helping them to achieve their health goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients with physical, psycho-social and/or cognitive impairments to determine if occupational therapy can benefit the patient's quality of life.
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in conjunction with the physician and care team to restore or maintain patient well-being.
  • Document care provided and participate in the coordination of care with other care team members.
  • Provide education and training to patient caregivers and family.
  • Supervise Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants and Aides, when applicable, in the performance of patient care that is consistent with the patient's needs.
