Position Overview:

As a Compensation Operations Specialist within the Compensation & Operations division, you will play a vital role in maintaining the precision and effectiveness of position-related workflows.

This position requires delivering exceptional support to the university community, managing inquiries, and resolving challenges associated with HR compensation and operational issues.

Moreover, you will be instrumental in evaluating and processing electronic Personnel Action Forms (ePAFs), overseeing onboarding documentation, handling position management requests, and ensuring adherence to institutional and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide support to the university community regarding compensation and position management by addressing inquiries through various communication channels.

2. Investigate and identify the source of issues presented, ensuring follow-through with the relevant department or employee until resolution.

3. Analyze and process ePAF transactions promptly to guarantee accuracy in title, benefit status, and compensation.

4. Confirm that the appropriate documentation is uploaded to the ePAF in accordance with the submitted action, including onboarding materials.

5. Ensure compliance of all new employee documentation with institutional, state, and federal regulations.

6. Review and process assigned reclassifications, promotions, new position requests, and tenure and rank modifications as necessary.

7. Evaluate and approve new requisitions and hire offers within the designated system, ensuring alignment of job duties with the selected title.


Special Projects:

Engage in special projects as required within the compensation and operations sector.


Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; or a combination of related education and/or experience totaling four (4) years.
