Electrical Drafter

ENTEK International is seeking a skilled Electrical Drafter to join our team at our Henderson, Nevada location. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical design, including high voltage, high precision mixed signal, low voltage, and embedded system design and development.

• Design electrical panels to meet UL and CE requirements
• Specify and list all electrical parts needed for purchasing
• Review and understand P&ID's
• Recognize and correct deficiencies in electrical drawings
• Create accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) for required components
• Work with the shop on the layout and build of small to large sized electrical panels
• Team with mechanical and controls units for optimum build criteria during design
• Read and understand electrical schematics and PLC ladder-logic listings

• Associate's degree, 4 to 10 years of related experience and/or training, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
• AutoCAD electrical, schematic / circuit design
• Familiarity with AC and DC drives, PLC-based control systems and instrumentation
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, supplier data sheets, and production documents
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English
• Ability to present information effectively to Operations Team, Management Team, customers, and suppliers
• Satisfactory results from a pre-employment drug screen

Salary: $66,000 to $91,000 per year
