Position Summary

Now Hiring Security Professionals for a Local Healthcare Facility

  • Compensation: $15.00 per hour
  • Full-Time Opportunities Available
  • Day Shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Night Shifts: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Additional Shift: 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM at a designated campus

The primary role involves preventing crime and maintaining order and control during assigned shifts. The Security Officer will patrol the premises or stand guard as directed, serving as a visible deterrent to criminal activity and violations of client policies. Responsibilities include identifying suspicious behavior, monitoring for criminal acts or policy breaches, and responding to incidents as dispatched, providing necessary assistance, and securing the scene until relieved. The officer will also conduct initial investigations of incidents and complete all required documentation.

Key Responsibilities

The Security Officer is essential to ensuring the safety and security of the facilities under protection. Responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a visible deterrent to crime and policy violations.
  • Detecting and reporting suspicious or unsafe activities.
  • Maintaining effective communication with all levels of personnel and the public.
  • Preparing detailed reports and logs as required.
  • Responding to both routine and emergency situations with composure and efficiency.
Qualifications

To qualify for the Security Officer position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum age of 18 years; 21 for armed positions.
  • High school diploma, college degree, or GED, with verifiable education.
  • At least 5 years of work experience within the last 5 years, including a minimum of 2 years of verifiable work history.
  • Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screening.
  • Possession of a valid guard card/license as required by state regulations.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations involving the general public.
Grooming and Uniform Standards

Uniform standards include:

  • Maintaining a clean and professional appearance at all times.
  • No visible tattoos on the face or neck.
  • Adhering to specific grooming guidelines.
Physical and Mental Requirements

Responsibilities may require:

  • Climbing stairs and navigating various environments.
  • Assisting in patient transport as needed.
  • Responding to emergencies with agility and efficiency.
