Emergency Service Nurse

Providence Health & Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Service Nurse to join our team at St. Joseph Hospital Eureka. As a member of our nursing team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
About the RoleThis is a full-time night shift position that requires a high level of autonomy and critical thinking. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes and providing a supportive and inclusive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to emergency department patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- Provider PALS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 1 year Nursing experience.
