About the Role:

As a Transportation Engineer at ExecuSource, you will play a pivotal role in supporting various traffic design projects from conception to completion. This position requires a strong understanding of traffic analysis, simulation, and impact studies, as well as experience with roadway design, traffic signal planning, and safety analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform field investigations to gather data and insights for traffic design projects.
  • Collaborate with the Transportation Division team to develop and implement traffic analysis, simulation, and impact studies.
  • Assist in the design and planning of roadways, traffic signals, and other transportation infrastructure.
  • Prepare technical reports and specifications to ensure compliance with state and local regulations.
  • Conduct construction-phase field observations to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Perform peer review activities as needed to ensure the quality and accuracy of project deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in traffic design and transportation engineering.
  • Registered Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training certificate.
  • Familiarity with RIDOT, MassDOT, and/or ConnDOT regulations and guidelines.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and systems such as AutoCAD, HCS, Synchro, and GIS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
