**Job Summary:**
The Palliative Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive and compassionate care to patients with advanced life-threatening or life-limiting illnesses, focusing on high-quality end-of-life care.
**Responsibilities:**
* Diagnose, treat, and alleviate symptoms, including pain management
* Guide patients and families on disease progression and treatment options
* Collaborate with the Medical Director and other healthcare professionals as needed
* Serve as an educational resource within the organization and the community
* Participate in team discussions and contribute to policy development and staff training
**Requirements:**
* Masters in Nursing (MSN)
* NC NP License
* Official recognition as NP from NC Board of Nursing
* At least 1 year of related experience providing care to patients with life-limiting illnesses
* Successful board certification in specialty within 2 years of hire date
