We understand the importance of flexibility in work arrangements. This role is eligible for our hybrid remote work program, allowing employees to work remotely one day a week, with the remaining days spent in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the bank's Allowance for Credit Losses (ACL) process through thorough analysis and data gathering related to the portfolio, industry, and economic conditions.
- Generate regular reports on credit, concentration (including geographic, industry, and interest rate), and systemic risks associated with the bank's loan portfolio.
- Oversee the bank's commercial loan portfolio to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal exposure limits.
- Assist in risk assessment for new loans, modifications, and renewals, providing recommendations and communicating any significant risks to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Familiarity with the Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) accounting standard.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in banking, particularly in commercial and commercial real estate lending.
- At least 2 years of experience in risk management.
- Proficient in analyzing loan portfolio data alongside economic and industry data to evaluate risks.
- Knowledge of commercial loan products and underwriting processes.
- Understanding of loan risk rating systems and bank core systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA, CPA, or CFA certification.
- Experience with CECL software, particularly ValuCast.
- Skills in data analysis and report writing using SAP/Crystal.
