Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of radiographic procedures, including basic radiography, fluoroscopy, and portable radiography.
  • Operate C-arm equipment and perform OR imaging services.
  • Provide routine procedures and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient procedures and results.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
  • State license as a general radiographer.
  • Experience in OR settings and ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Additional Information

This is a special internal vacancy, leave coverage position. The selected candidate will be required to float to other units as needed.
