Job Summary

BayCare Medical Group is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team of experienced healthcare professionals in Tampa, FL. As an Advanced Practice Provider in Pediatric Surgery, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our team of surgeons in the operating room.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care before and after surgery, including physical exams, closing incisions, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
  • Assist physicians in surgical procedures and provide specialized care, including I&Ds, minor skin lesions, drug implant and removal.
  • Coordinate and provide clinical services across the continuum of care for surgical patients, operating under physician-directed protocols.
  • Support surgeons in the OR and with inpatient and outpatient services, demonstrating a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Florida licensure and certification as a PA-C or APRN.
  • Board Certification in Pediatric Surgery or related field.
  • Medical Staff privileges as required by the position.
