Restaurant Cook

TravelCenters of America is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Dotties Restaurant. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food to our guests, ensuring they have a positive dining experience.

• Prepare and cook food to order, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Perform prep cook tasks, such as washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients.
• Operate grill, fryer, and broiler stations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
• Complete prep, freezer pull, and temperature checklist sheets.
• Practice safe food handling and storage procedures, adhering to company guidelines.
• Maintain equipment per operating standards, ensuring optimal performance.
• Prioritize tasks according to restaurant needs, ensuring efficient service.
• Build strong relationships with colleagues and leaders, fostering a positive team environment.

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
