Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cath Lab Technologist to work in a hospital setting. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines, to capture high-quality images of the heart and blood vessels.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical procedures and technologies to provide the highest level of care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) or a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT).
- Experience working in a Catheterization Laboratory or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
