We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Athletic Trainer to join our team at Mercy. As a Sports Medicine Manager, you will be responsible for the management and direction of our sports medicine outreach program, including the supervision of coworkers and relationships with community partners.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and direct the sports medicine outreach program, including the supervision of coworkers and relationships with community partners.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality and efficiency of sports medicine services.
- Collaborate with other medical practices in the community to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Monitor coworker performance and lead annual performance reviews.
- Maintain current knowledge of the sports medicine profession and department policies and procedures.
- Graduate of athletic training from an accredited college or university.
- Licensed Athletic Trainer by the Board of Registration for the Healing Arts in the applicable state of practice.
- At least five (5) years of experience in sports medicine, with previous leadership experience preferred.
- Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer and Professional Rescuer CPR or equivalent.
