Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Medicine team at Tidelands Health. As a Physician Assistant, you will work closely with our emergency medicine physicians to provide high-quality patient care and support the delivery of emergency medical services.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the emergency department, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.
- Collaborate with emergency medicine physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct physical exams, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to inform patient care decisions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and procedural interventions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- 2+ years of experience as a Physician Assistant in emergency medicine or a related field.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
