About the Role: As a Meat Cutter and Wrapper at Sam's Club, you will play a vital role in ensuring our members receive high-quality meat products. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will make you an excellent fit for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a Team Player: Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team, communicate effectively, and be flexible to meet the needs of the business.
  • Be an Expert: Demonstrate knowledge of business operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Be a Problem Solver: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology to make informed business decisions and adapt to new tools.
  • Be an Owner: Ensure operational excellence by maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to company policies and procedures, and ensuring quality and date control standards for meat products.
  • Be a Customer Advocate: Provide exceptional customer service, model high-quality service and products, and execute the basics at the highest level of quality.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
