Material Handler

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Dundee, MI

Pay: $18.75/hr

Shift: 7am-7:30pm schedule; 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3off

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our team at our recycling facility in Dundee, MI. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials to and from production lines, as well as operating industrial trucks or electric hoists to assist in loading or moving materials and products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, and move materials to and from production lines
• Operate industrial trucks or electric hoists to assist in loading or moving materials and products
• Inspect and count materials, documenting key information
• Shovel loose materials into containers for inspection
• Move and load bulk trucks/cars manually
• Be in a harness to load a rail car or bulk truck approximately 20 in the air

Requirements:

• Minimum of six (6) months forklift operation experience
• Climbing on and off forklift continuously throughout shift
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Able to work at heights up to 20 feet using proper PPE
